Mr. Cozart, husband, father, and Director. Mr. Cozart serves as the Director of the TRIO Student Support Services at Kansas City Kansas Community College assisting first generation and low income students. Dur-ing his tenure he also served as an Adjunct Instructor, and volunteered on various committees at the college.

Earning a B.A. in Mass Communication and an M.A. in Teaching Social Science from Grambling State Uni-versity, he is additionally certified as a Title IX & Sex Crimes Investigator, Life & Career Coach, and Profes-sional Diversity Coach. With over 17 years of experience in his field, Mr. Cozart continues to be a servant leader.
He was elected in 2018 to serve as the Kansas State Representative for the TRIO State Association (MO-KAN-NE). He serves as a Board Member of The Hope Center, Inc. He serves as the Interim Men’s Minis-try Leader at Evangelistic Center, under the leadership of Bishop Jack C. Vaughn. He also serves as the Ex-ecutive Director of the Cornerstone Community Empowerment Center 501(c)3 (a community development corporation establish to empower residents in the Oklahoma City area).

While in Oklahoma, Mr. & Mrs. Cozart founded a nonprofit organization, Village Concepts, where he served as a College Guidance expert. Partnered with Oklahoma State Regents in Higher Education and sev-eral School Districts in the greater Oklahoma City area, Mr. & Mrs. Cozart provided College Access and Scholarship Assistance. Mr. Cozart notes to date assisting hundreds of students with over 4 million dollars in scholarship opportunities
