Paul has worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center for approximately 5 months. Currently, he serves as an Administrative Associate within the Public Safety Department. He is responsible for ensuring that the entire fleet of vehicles for both Police and Safety & Security Officers, including the executive leadership team are well maintained and more importantly, function properly. He serves with enthusiasm and believes in doing the right thing. He is an eager and motivated team player who has been creative and innovative in how he manages his job duties.

Upon graduating from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas, Paul continued his education at Cloud Com-munity College and received an Associate of Arts degree in Business. He then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Arkansas and an Associate of Arts degree in Fire Science from the Kansas City Kan-sas Community College. He later received his Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and Organizational Development from Friends University.
Paul’s professional contributions have left imprints at his various places of employ. He retired from the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department as a Battalion Chief. He was honored for having rescued a citizen from a burning house. The Kansas City Kansas Unified School District 500 honored him as the Substitute of the year. His colleagues view his corporate contributions in the manner in which he treats others fairly and equitably, being a team player and being creative and innovative with how he manages job duties. Paul is said to consistently go above and beyond to ensure excellence in his duties.

Paul is known in the community for his volunteer service through various organizations. He is a member of Strangers Rest Baptist Church where he voluntarily serves as a Deacon, an Usher, and is a member of the church’s health minis-try. A few other organizations include the Professional Racial Image Demonstrating Equity (PRIDE), KC United! – Youth Sports and Education Initiative, Banneker Site Council and Health Equity Action Transformation (HEAT) advisory board.
